Which areas do your fencing contractors cover?
For residential work, we primarily cover Devon working from our base near Barnstaple in North Devon. We can and do travel further though, depending on the nature and size of the project.
What is the difference between commercial and residential landscaping?
At GroundForce, we handle both types. On the residential landscaping side, we work primarily on domestic projects to overhaul gardens, transform natural areas and replace fencing. On the commercial side, we work with housing builders to make sure their new estates are beautiful places to live - including turfing, landscaping and fencing. We handle projects large and small, so if you're looking for residential landscaping in Devon - even for quite a small project - we'd love to speak with you.
What type of commercial fencing do you install?
We offer a variety of timber fencing, including palisade, featheredge, picket, post & rail, and panel. We also provide gates and fixings.
What grade of timber do your fence builders use?
Only quality treated timber is used for all of our fencing, providing safety, privacy and a clean finish that will last.
My garden really catches the wind: will your commercial fences and gates be strong enough?
Our standard specification for fencing is 1.8m post to post, which will already provide extra strength and stability compared to some installers. When we visit your property for a quote consultation we will advise a fencing solution that is best suited for your garden, so in a particularly windy area we may suggest a palisade or picket option with less wind resistance.
